Dexter Cattle Promotion Group (DCAI)
RIVERINA - NSW

The Dexter Promotion Group of Riverina (DCAI) consists of a small group of enthusiastic breeders who come from all walks of life and have very busy lifestyles.
Members’ activities and aims extend to the production of gourmet food featuring Dexter beef, breeding for true dual purpose qualities – both meat and milk, training easy care livestock for home-farm and show quality cattle.
Our members range from the one cow family right through to the larger herds who run their farms on a more commercial basis.
We have members who are certifi ed organic farms, and the Dexters excel in this field.
We have a widely varied age range, from juniors right through to retirees, and our aim is to support members and promote Dexters in mid and southern inland New South Wales beyond the coast and ACT regions.
We endeavour to meet two or three times a year at various locations within our region, experiences and information.
The Riverina Group held its inaugural meeting in April 2008, in response to the obvious need to establish a group for breeders in the Riverina area, due to isolation by distance. We extend an open invitation to all who are interested to join us for meetings and gatherings.
The members of the Riverina Group continue to work in conjunction with the Dexter Group of South-East NSW in promoting Dexter cattle across our extensive region.
