Education goes
hand in hand with
Promotion at
Northern Inland
At Northern Inland we consider ourselves privileged to have a diverse group of people who have knowledge and experience in all manner of lifestyles that they are willing to share.
Being interested in Dexter Cattle is all very well but to facilitate breed shows, youth camps and promotions takes a whole raft of skills other than those of a cattleman.
Our members tend to think education when they think promotion and are very keen to support new members and would be Dexter breeders with practical, hands on field days.
We meet on a regular basis, generally managing around six meetings a year, short of unexpected happenings such as floods and other interruptions mother nature may throw in the way.
Meetings get right down to business early so the rest of the day can be dedicated to some practical skill sharing. Well, that is when we are not hard at it planning a youth camp to educate prospective young cattle fitters, the NSW Breed show or some other promotional activity.
When you have a keen group of people it seems the ideas are endless and so there is not a lot of time when the Northern Inland Group are not planning something or recovering from the last big event.
That sounds pretty busy doesn’t it, but really we have plenty of time to enjoy the good company and have a lot of fun along the way.
We welcome new members to the Group and we are also happy for non-members who are considering Dexters for the future to attend any of our Group activities.
For more information about our group please contact the Group Secretary for dates and times and come along to see what we do. You are most welcome.
