The 2019 Queensland Dexter Breed Show involved 11 Dexter studs, 10 from Queensland and one from New South Wales. The total number of animals shown was 42.

We had a beautiful sunny day of judging and showing these beefy little milkers.

Our judge this year was Esther Ruffo who did a great job on the day.

The event was advertised in Southern Queensland by an interview with our publicity officer broadcast on the ABC and with articles in the Wide Bay and Burnett local papers. Many of the 2500 people who entered through the gates of the Nanango Showgrounds came to admire these quiet, small breed cattle.

The committee is looking forward to organizing next year’s breed show being the last one before the 30th aniversary Queensland Dexter Cattle  Breed show in 2021.
